Snowmobiling

Best Snowmobile Trails Anywhere
...at prices you just can't beat!

The snowmobile trails in and around Kirkland Lake are maintained by the Golden Corridor Snowdrifters snowmobiling club (GCSD). We are located 45km from the Quebec border, 150km south-east of Timmins and 250km north of North Bay, Northern Ontario.

Our trail system links up with the Larder / McGarry snowmobile club to the east, Englehart to the south, Elk Lake to the southwest and Matheson to the north.

Bring the entire family - we have something for everyone. Younger members of your group will enjoy our private snowshoe trails offering an opportunity to identify numerous animal tracks such as lynx, martin, rabbit, fisher, fox, wolf and more.

We can comfortably accommodate 22 people in our modern cabin facilities featuring running water, electricity and propane. We'll keep you cozy, even on the coldest of days.

There are virtually hundreds of miles of trails to explore in the area but if you prefer to make your own trails, there is plenty of opportunity to do that as well.

TATA (Timiskaming Abitibi Trail Association) includes the communities of: Kirkland Lake, New Liskeard, Haileybury, Cobalt, Latchford, Dymond, Temagami, Elk Lake, Earlton, Larder Lake, Matachewan, Englehart, Gogama, Mattagami, Shining Tree, Charlton, Gowganda, Kearns and Virginiatown.

You stay at a central camp (see accommodations) and travel daily to the areas of your choice.
